Wow! It’s so great to see octopus blogs (I love them so much <3) Here’s the rest of this series. I was supposed to design a treasure chest, rotate it and draw it destroyed.

RL Bastion Drinks Part 1: Mender Mead

“Folks say Mender Mead’s good for you. It’s like an herb garden in full bloom.”

Here’s the first bottle of the 2 spirits that I’ve planned to bring to life. I made some miscalculations with the Bastion Bourbon label so that one will be released a little later.

The white bow is an homage to the original drawing with the bandages. I referred to the Bullhead Shield’s design for the label because of Mender Mead’s effect of you gaining health when you counter-block with the shield. 

Well, my project isn’t turning out as I hoped. I have to change some things for the Bastion Bourbon label and the Mender Mead label doesn’t work on the bottle at all (I stuck it on an Arizona Green Tea bottle instead).

It’s gonna be a little more time and money but I have a clear solution for both problems so I have my fingers crossed that things will turn out well.

For my advertising class, I have to design a label for an alcoholic drink. I decided to use two of Bastion’s spirits and bring them to life. They are Bastion Bourbon and Mender Mead. These are still works in progress.

Hey guys! I recently participated in a fashion show call “Runway for Research” that was held by the Canadian Immunology Research Association (CIRA) at York University. They had a couple lines that were created by local Toronto designers and also had a cosplay line in which a bunch of cosplayers (me included) volunteered for.

Something I made for an assignment. I was really inspired by this beautiful game.

This took so much time…. *dies*But now it’s ready for color. It’ll be a really simple color job because it’s due tomorrow.
